Spaces that feel as good as they look

Studio Moosa is an architectural building design and interiors practice creating considered, deeply personal spaces shaped by people, place and the rituals of everyday life.

We approach architecture and interiors as one — considering form, materiality, light and the finer details together to create spaces that feel cohesive, intuitive and distinctly their own.

We believe the most memorable spaces are not defined by a particular style, but by how they make you feel.

Warmth. Calm. Belonging.

A sense that you have arrived somewhere entirely your own.

Who We Are

Founder & Director

Studio Moosa was founded by Paula Morales as the natural evolution of a nine-year career spanning residential architecture, interiors and commercial design.

A registered building designer in Queensland and Victoria, Paula spent seven years in Melbourne, progressing to Senior Designer within an integrated architecture and construction practice. Her experience spans mid to high-end homes, boutique residential developments, heritage renovations and extensions, and interior fit-outs — often guiding projects from their earliest concepts through to completion on site.

After relocating to Brisbane and broadening her experience in commercial and hospitality interiors, Paula established Studio Moosa as a more personal and holistic expression of her approach to design — bringing architecture, interiors and the experience of living within a space together as one considered whole.

Becoming a mother further deepened her appreciation for the role home plays in our everyday lives, reinforcing a belief that has long shaped her work: our surroundings have a profound influence on how we feel.

Today, Paula brings together creativity, practicality and a sensitivity to materiality and detail to create homes with warmth, individuality and a quiet sense of permanence.
